Member Governments
A forum for decision-makers to support regional ocean planning and policies related to the U.S. West Coast
The West Coast Ocean Alliance serves as a unifying force, aiming to harmonizing the efforts of state, tribal, and federal government partners within an inclusive, non-regulatory framework.
We foster connection among our members through a combination of regular remote gatherings and annual in-person convenings. In addition, we actively nurture sub-regional working groups, each with a sharp focus on addressing the unique challenges and opportunities present in specific coastal areas along the West Coast.

Member Call Summaries
We convene member governments on bi-monthly remote calls, providing an invaluable platform for all our partners to engage. These calls serve as a pivotal forum where members convene to deliberate on our latest regional initiatives and share updates on their individual activities.
Access our call summaries for a comprehensive overview of our ongoing efforts and the strides we're making together in pursuit of our shared vision.

Ongoing Projects
Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we're set to receive approximately $3.9 million over the next two years, courtesy of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This funding will support a range of projects to foster collaboration between states, tribes, and federal entities to responsibly manage our oceans and coastal regions.
